Moments in Flight

“Moments in Flight” is comprised of approximately 23,600 linear feet of rope, over 500 hand-tied technical knots and approximately 120,000 fabric streamers. Harnessing available wind, the artwork undulates in a gorgeous, immersive display that appears to hang in midair. This installation is an innovative new interpretation of the artist’s signature Skynet series, taking the shape of a kaleidoscope of butterflies, each with a 12 ft wingspan.

These stunning installations were commissioned by Emaar for Dubai Creek Harbour.
